Several members of Argentina's 2022 World Cup-winning squad and their families are expected to attend the farewell celebration. Young players including Franco Mastantuono and Nico Paz also represent the next generation of the Argentina team.

⭐ Players to Watch

Argentina – Lionel Messi
All eyes will be on Messi as he prepares for his final appearance in the Argentina shirt. The captain will be looking to finish his international career with another memorable performance in front of the home supporters.

Argentina – Lautaro Martínez
Lautaro remains one of Argentina's main attacking options and could play an important role alongside the team's younger forwards.

Benin – Steve Mounié
The Benin captain provides experience and a physical presence in attack. He will be one of the players Argentina's defence must keep under control.

⚔️ Head-to-Head

Argentina and Benin have no significant history of senior men's international meetings, making this a rare encounter between the two nations.

🧠 Tactical Battle

Argentina are expected to dominate possession and attempt to control the match through their midfield. Their technical quality and movement in the final third should create opportunities against a Benin side likely to defend compactly.

Benin will look for counter-attacking opportunities and set pieces. Staying organised defensively and limiting Argentina's space around the penalty area will be crucial for the visitors.

🔮 Match Prediction

Argentina 4-0 Benin

Argentina have a significant advantage in squad quality and home conditions. With Messi's farewell adding extra motivation, the hosts are expected to control the match.
