Milan have started again. Rúben Amorim takes over at San Siro and brings the 3-4-2-1 that defines his coaching, backed by the heaviest summer outlay in Serie A — roughly €106m, headlined by €74m for Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain and €25m for Lazio centre-back Mario Gila. Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic supply the creativity behind Ramos, with Adrien Rabiot, Samuele Ricci and a still-influential Luka Modrić controlling midfield.
